	田長霖 Chang-Lin Tien b. 1935, Wuhan d. 2002	Was Chancellor of University of California at Berkeley (UCB) from 1990-1997, the first Asian-American chancellor of a major research university. Tien was also a distinguished professor of engineering and an expert in the field of heat transfer. The UCB Center for East Asian Studies has been named after him.
	楊祖佑 Henry Yang	Chancellor of the University of California at Santa Barbara since 1994. Before joining UCSB, Yang spent 25 years at Purdue as a professor of aeronautics and dean of the School of Engineering.
