The title is misleading as the story line has nothing in common with the "Emmanuelle"
series of movies. In the fact, the plot is closer to "Story
of O" (without the S&M) plus some
of the sex scenes from "Eyes Wide Shut" thrown in.
A psychologist, frustrated by the frigidity of his wife, has her kidnapped by a secretive outfit
that promises to convert her into the passionate woman he desires. Overall, the movie works well
with its glossy look and surprisingly erotic scenes..
