Selected Resources for "Integrated Chinese"
The "Integrated Chinese" textbook series is probably the most popular textbook series for teaching Chinese at the college level. First published
in 1997, it is now in its second edition. The series supports the idea that all students should eventually be able to read
both simplified and traditional characters but, in order to lighten the workload for the first year student, it provides separate
simplified and traditional character editions for the first year of instruction. In the second year of instructions, the simplified
and traditional text are presented in facing pages for easy comparison. |
