YellowBridge Chinese English Dictionary Gadget

Gadget available for iGoogle or your own webpage

The contents of the YellowBridge Chinese English Dictionary for Learners is now freely available as a Google Gadget. A Google gadget is simply a miniature application that you can embed in your iGoogle personal homepage and even your own website. This means that you can now easily search our online dictionary without even coming to our website directly. (An Internet connection is still required, of course). The gadget is customizable so that you can change certain features such as whether it should display its results using traditional or simplified Chinese characters.

Since gadgets are typically very small (usually less than 300x300 pixels), the results will be limited to the Chinese characters, pinyin, and English translation. However, the full detailed entry is displayed in a regular web simply by clicking on the Chinese characters.

No web programming skills are need to embed our gadget into iGoogle or your own webpage. Simply choose the appropriate method below:

Add to iGoogle	Click on the button shown on the left. After installation, you can customize it via the Edit Settings menu option located above the gadget.
Add to your webpage	Click on this link to preview and customize the gadget. The chosen options will be used for all visitors to your site. Site visitors will not be able to change these options. When done, click on the Get the Code button. Copy and paste the resulting HTML into your desired webpage.
