Selected Resources for "New Practical Chinese Reader"
The NPCR is the successor series to the "Practical Chinese Reader" series that
had been around since 1981 and had been quite popular as a college
textbook but was beginning to sound outdated given the changes
and progress of the last quarter century. The new series is
in fact a whole new set of books and not a simple update. It
reflects philosophical changes made in how to teach Chinese as a
foreign language. The complete series is expected to encompass six volumes. |
